Winter finally arrived in The North York Moors National Park during the last week of January and through into early February.

Although the snow was patchy and fell only on high ground, there was certainly plenty of it at times.

During the week I spent a lot of time on Blakey ridge shooting video, timelpase and stills at places like Rosedale and Hutton Le Hole.

At times the scenes were stunning and on two occasions I started the day on Blakey ridge with temperatures around minus 6, but the clear blue skies and early morning sunlight made for beautiful views all around.

This video shows scenes from across the North York Moors National Park and ends with the amazing winter wonderland views of heavy snow and clear blue skies at The Hole Of Horecombe.
