Paul Thomas Anderson Filming In Staithes Yorkshire Jan 31st 2017

Legendary film producer Paul Thomas Anderson was Filming on the set of his latest movie In Staithes Yorkshire Jan 31st 2017.

Although little is known of the film, other than it stars Daniel Day-Lewis in the leading role, it is thought the story is about a fashion designer from the 1950’s

Many of the cast are unknown. I have my suspicions, although I may be a million miles out, that one of the leading female roles maybe European actress Vicky Krieps

Having already filmed in and around Whitby, Lythe And Robin Hoods Bay, todays set was in the tiny fishing village of Staithes. Local fishing boats were used and extras were brought in dressed in traditional fishing attire from the 50’s.
