Yesterday I paid a visit to my good friend Jack Hallam at his Joinery Business out in Egton. Over the coming months Ill be building a website for Jack and so I was up there for us to talk a few things over.

On my way home I noticed the beautiful moon in the sky. It was dusk but almost fully dark. The best time for some moon shots had probably past. it always seems difficult to expose foreground and the moon once its got dark>

Non the less I managed to take a few photographs that I quite like. the first shot is of The Wheatshief Pub in Egton. The others are of the piers at Whitby lit by the large moon above.

The shots were taken on a long exposure. The One of the pub being roughly 10 seconds at about f8. The photographs of the piers were shot at around 50mm, f8 with a variety of shutter speeds between 10 and 30 seconds. In all my shots I try to keep the ISO down to around 200 in order to avoid noise in the photograph.

All the Photographs here are available to purchase as Prints, Canvases or you can buy a copy of the image file and print them yourself. To be any of the images here please email me at whitbyphotohgraphy1@gmail.com
