As a once avid sea angler there are many places along our coast that I seem to have a close affinity with. Saltwick Nab is one of those very places, and over the years Ive stood there many hours at dusk and into the darkness waiting for those winter cod to make a show.
With my new passion for photography Im revisiting some of my old haunts to capture with the camera those sights that Ive witnessed first hand for several decades now, but been unable to share with anyone else who hasn’t been there.
Of all the places on our wonderful Yorkshire coastline, Saltwick Nab has to be my favourite place to be. That one place where I feel totally at ease with myself and the world.
These are just a few shots from tonights shoot. Im sure Ill be back down there again under various conditions in the coming months.
Agains a selection of the Images will be placed in our online shop for readers to purchase.
Many thanks once again for looking, and Id love to hear your comments below.

Amazing pictures Glenn as always. A pleasure to look at
Thanks Carl. Saltwick really is heaven on earth.
That top photo is perfect, it has a dreamlike quality to it. I’ve never been along there and I don’t suppose I’ll ever manage it now, but at least I have an idea of how magical it is. ?
Its a wonderful part of our coastline Margaret. Plus you dont have to go down to be able to see it. Its all visible off the cliff tops.
the whole coast you have up there is very close to Heaven Glenn. I love looking at all your pictures on Facebook. A credit to Photagraphy
I’ve been along the coastal path many times…but it’s something about the cliff towering above that makes it special ?
